my grandfather has one of these Snake Light flashlights from the 90's. I cannot remember if his takes AA's or C's. I remember some time ago the batteries leaked all over his and dried up. He wanted to throw it away, but I was able to fix it. I had gone get a can of Pepsi from his utility room and I used it to take out the battery acid, and was successful. I put new batteries in it and it came on. The only difference between this one and my grandfather's one is that his is white and gray.

since my Mazda SUV doesn't have front dome light for reading maps or anything including talking with my deaf friends. so dark and hard to see whats inside the car. For my deaf friends have to use the shade with lighted mirror. so, thought that snake light might be ideal for my needs and the conversations with deaf friends.
