Hi. While renovating my basement I have just found a Burgess 4F2J Twin Six "telephone" battery 3V, which looks about the same size square as this lantern. I wonder if it would fit?

I have this light. Always wondered when it was made. 1935..amazing. I have tried several battery combos. 2 d-cells will at least turn it on.

Is this flashlight still for sale?

I have this lantern. It is in perfect condition though the batteries are not in any longer. Is there anyone in my area who would be interested in purchasing this. I am not an antique lantern enthusiast, and it was given to me by a friend. I also have a Hytee's Factories, Inc. - Dad's Trademark Electric Lantern in perfect condition and the batteries are in that one yet. I am in Southwest Wisconsin.
