Does anyone know if these lanterns were purchased by the Govt. during WWII or the Korean War? Does anyone know how many were made? Thanks.

I just purchased one of these flashlights for my restored 1952 military jeep. I also restored the flashlight. Can you tell me what type of bulb and if possible can you send me a picture of what the battery looked like for this flashlight. Is it still available.
