I just found my DACO - Lite that I actually used in WWII, in 1944 & 45. It still works with the original bulb and still has the extra bulb! Couldn't believe it! It was used in Hawaii, Johnson Island, Saipan, Lete, New Guinea, Biac, French Haven, Quadulene, Palowan, Phillipines, and Osaka, Japan. It's a solid color, sort of yellow-orange. It was manufactured at Dayton Acme Co., Cincinnati, Ohio. Bill Fritz, x-tail gunner, 13th Air-Force.
