This delta brand lantern seams pretty old to me and i want to know where to find some more facts on the internet.

Yes, this has been repainted which is a shame for the original patina. It should be silver tone as original. I just purchased one and they date in the 1937 - 1939 era from what I can find out. I absolutely love mine. I am putting it in my "Keys" room as in the FL Keys where my family has its heritage. It could've been used on an old fishing boat.

Hi, I have two of these lanterns with lense covers they are green with a yellow looking shield painted on the bottom with red stamp " 13 ENG". The writting on the bottom is easy to read with the pattent number visable.

i picked up a 'brand new' still in the original box delta powerlite at an estate auction. i'm listing it on ebay 12/20. pls see store 'trknfldnut' if interested in something 'mint'.

Hi there,

I have a Delta Powerlite Lantern in Excellent condition. The lenses have some yellowing but the logo is perfect and have just a trace of rust. I would rate it a 9 out of 10.
