I just purchased one of these. Is it a railroad use lantern? Are repair/replacement parts available? Mine has a broken metal clamping ? ring that holds the light dome in place. It appears from the picture that this ring should have a keep/lock/etc. as part of it. Mine does not.

I have one of these flashlights. I am wondering if 1934 is the right year as mine has a patent date of 1906???? Am I right or wrong? Thanks fir any info.
