ONLY THING THAT USUALLY KILLS OL FLASHLIGHTS AFTER 20 YEARS IS THE LENS STARTS TO CLOUD...MORE SO IF YOU SMOKE OBVIOUSLY...I HAVE MY OL DADS LIGHT FROM THE EARLY 1970'S...GREAT CONDITION EXCEPT THE PLASTIC LENS COVER IS CLOUDY AN SO IS THE SILVER LENS INSIDE...UNUSABLE NOW...JUST KEEP IT FOR SENTIMENTAL PURPOSES...

I have a similar F.L. I found it at a yard sale years ago,it still works great! By the looks of it, it took a beating yet survived very well.
