The only difference that I can see is that on the mount for the on contact flapper, mine has small leaf type springs. it appears these were tp prevent the switch from accidently falling down on to the contact . Mine has pat. dates of May 29 1894, Jan 3 1899, and a second Jan 1899. I am interested in approx era of use and value. Light appears in good original condition.
