YEAH ERIC...THIS USED TO BE THE OLD EVERYREADY "VALUE MODEL" FLASHLIGHT...COSTING A BUCK...GOOD DEAL...THEY WORKED FINE...THE NEW EVERYREADY VALUE LIGHT...NOW 1.59 TO 2 BUCKS...IS REALLY HORRIBLE...IT HAS A SCRATCHY RASPY OVAL SWITCH WITH POINTS THAT DIG INTO YOUR THUMBS...A TERRIBLE CHEAP LENS...THATS HALF FACETED...THE LIGHTS NOT EVEN WORTH A BUCK...TOTAL JUNK...THEY SHOULD GO BACK TO THIS MODEL...EVEN IF THEY CHARGE A LIL MORE...ITS WORTH IT...I BUY THESE CHEAP LIGHTS FOR KIDS ON THEIR SLEEPOUTS...

i remember in the summer of '98 I bought a Value Pack (2) of these but they were yellow, still had the centenial sticker however.
