JUSTA A WORD OF CAUTION....BECAREFUL OF THESE VERY OLD LIGHTS....WHILE THEY WERE GREAT IN THEIR DAY....TWENTY YEARS LATER...THE OLD PRIMITIVE BATTERIES CAN LEAK, EXPLODE OR CATCH FIRE WHILE PLUGGED IN...I KNOW OF SUCH A CASE....KEEP CLOSE EYE ON IT...OR BETTER YET..BUY A NEW LANTERN OR BATTERY IF POSSIBLE...TO BE SAFE....

I have one of these rechargeable lanterns with the car chargerand case. Nice outfit. Is the sealed 4.8v sealed bulb available? I am on the road quite a bit for my job and this was a comfort to have.

This flashlight has a cigarrett charger line and a household AC/cigarrett plug converter inside the back door of the flashlight. The power is 4 (soldered in) c size nicad batteries. The unit can function plugged into the car cigarret lighter or using its recharged batteries. It's 4.8v sealed bulb really reaches out as a spot light.

Was just given one of these fine lamps but it came without instructions or the home charger...
I would like to find out what voltage the output of the home charger was and whether that voltage was an AC or DC...
tnx for looking...
