I have had my lantern since the 1970s, havent used it for some time. I cannot remember if the battery was 6v or 12v but I would like to get one to give it to my grandson, he has started fishing.

I have 3 of these, 2 have never been used. Seems as time goes by the batteries are getting harder to locate. I think there the best since shirt pockets were invented.
