FORGOT TO SAY....I DID HAVE THIS LIGHT MANY YEARS AGO...I HAD THIS ONE THAT PLUGS DIRECTLY INTO THE WALL AN ALSO THE OTHER MODEL...WHERE THE LIGHT SNAPPED INTO A CHARGING STAND ON THE BOTTOM...BUT THIS FIRST ALERT LIGHT WAS MADE BY "PITTWAY" AN AS FAR AS I KNOW...THEY DONT MAKE A REPLACEMENT BATTERY...OR THIS LIGHT ANYMORE...I HAVENT SEEN THESE LIGHTS IN YEARS...SO....YOU MAY HAVE TO SETTLE WITH A "ENERGIZER" OR "RAY O VAC" RECHARGEABLE BRAND...GOOD LUCK AGAIN.....

I have a First Alert ready-lite Model RL 101, which looks loke the one above except that mine is boxy and has a handle. I need to replace the brown frame, the reflector panel and lightbulb, as mine got damaged in my RV slide. I LOVE this dependable flashlight from that late 1980's and would like to keep it going. Perhaps the front of the flashlight pictured above would make mine "whole" again. Thanks. Fran

I have a Model RL30. Parts seem to be o.k. but prongs are wiggle. Also have Owner's Manual. Free if you want. Purchased a new First Alert and discovered prongs are so short it falls out of my wall sockets.

THE PROBLEM WITH THESE LIGHTS...THEY LAST 10 OR 20 YEARS BUT WHEN YOU NEED PARTS...GOOD LUCK....FIRST ALERT WAS MADE BY "PITTWAY" GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM FOR BULBS OR BATTERIES IF YOU CAN FIND THEM...I DONT SEE THEIR LIGHTS ANYMORE IN STORES...I HAD TO SWITCH TO THE NEWER "ENERGIZER" RECHARGEABLE L.E.D. LIGHTS FOUND AT WALMART...GOOD THING WITH L.E.D...THE BULB NEVER WEARS OUT....GOOD LUCK EVERYONE...

YOU CAN ALWAYS TELL THE OLD RECHARGEABLE LIGHTS...THE PRONGS WERE IN THE MIDDLE AN WHEN YOU PLUGGED IT IN....IT BLOCKED THE WHOLE OUTLET....LOL...INSTEAD OF USING ONE HALF LIKE THE NEWER LIGHTS...

Have a PFL200 rechargeable flashlight. In order to charge it the first time, I don't know whether to plug it in and place it on Auto or On or Off. And when charged, what do I put it on.
