I have a GT Price D-31 with an orange body and red lens. the date etched on the side is: 05-02-53
It seems to be in great condition but i put a new d-cell battery and it will not light. It has a different type of bulb and a magnet instead of a belt clip. I would like to get it to work...any ideas?

I have on of these, but it came with no spring in the bottom, nor any metal contact whatsoever, so naturally does not work. Any idea what came in the bottom of this to make contact with the switch?
