This was my very first flashlight that I can remember having, my dad gave it to me for an overnight camping trip. Budget type flashlights of the 90's dont appeal to most because of the cheap build and performence. Flashlights of earlier periods like the old everreadys were built to last, most budget type lights from the 80's and 90's were all about cheap price and plastic parts, which is why so few are still around.

ironically speaking of this flashlight; i saw 3 of these on clearance today at rite aid selling for $2 a piece. one of theme was a rare lime green color. i read on the packaging that this flashlight contained 3 AA batteries inside, well i received one of these as a gift for easter one year and when it gave out i gutted it to see the insides. it actually takes a B size battery (aka a 336 battery) which is the equivalent of 3 AA batteries.

not exactly my favorite garrity flashlight but i have something i to say about garrity. in the 1990s they made some really awesome flashlights. what happened? i wish they would bring back the flashlights they made during this time period, especially the rugged lite series. anyone agree with me?
