What is the warning about cancer all about? Hubby bought three for our children-they were playing with them until my oldest said to our youngest careful these cause cancer. He then showed us the little warning on the box! Please email me with the details reguarding the warning.

i got one about 2 years ago, works perfectly, took it apart to see inside, if there is no sound, then one of the cables that connects to the speaker is not connected, a quick solder is needed to reconnect it, about the warnings, it is standard to put it on the box where these come from, its like the not for children under the age of 3 labels on almost everything, not gonn do any damage, just a requirement to meet safety regulations. love mine, works wonders

My husband just got a bunch from someone he works with and I too read the warning about the potential to cause cancer. Please let me know more before I give them to little family members. Thanks

My son got one from his grandfather and the light bulb blew out right away. I cannot find a replacement bulb. The old bulb is a 3.6volt, 0.5amp. Sometimes they also are sold based on the batteries in the device and this one has 3 AA's. Can anyone find a replacement out there? I tried Home Depot, Longs, ACE and online Google, eBay, Amazon without success. Thanks!

Susan, I can get these wholesale. Contact me if you are interested. My email is lorainguy@gmail.com. From what I can tell regarding the warning, it is a state law for California that any one of 700+ products that have been tested to cause cancer or defects (even if just in lab rats) carry that warning. Tobacco is another product on the list. For more information, look up California Proposition 65 (prop 65). A quick google search will give you some results

Some lady come into the place I work and showed me the demo that worked so I bought one for my daughter and the lights work mostly but the sounds do not work at all. I was just wondering if there was some place we could exchange it for a different one or what we could do. I would like to have another one if at all possible.

This light was a gift to the Flashlight Museum. At this point, we do not have any further information on the warnings that accompany it. Ours is used for display only.

Two of these flashlights were mysteriously dropped off at my doorstep. I was curious and opened, they worked, but we only used them for a few minutes before I noticed the warning about potential to cause cancer?!! Would like to know exactly what that is all about.

Purchased this item about a week before Halloween. By the time Halloween got here, it didn't work! It comes with no warranty, so purchase with caution! :(
