But the suggested price on the box says $29.99...you sell it for $12.00 and I bought mine at CVS for $2.99. For writing up work orders and checking inside dark equipment, this pen works great. I will try the Zebra refills (ZEB85612) to see if they work. On a cloudy day the beam spot is visible 125 + feet from the user. It should be adequate for use in almost any presentation scenario. The lLED light is fine for illuminating key holes or the like & can light your way on a very dark night. The pen is so-so. The value in this item is in the laser. Look closely at the box illustration to ensure you have the battery orientation correct. If you put them in the wrong way, they can get stuck & are very difficult to remove. It very simply slips off of the old Innovage inkcartridge and onto the Zebra refill.
