It was the most powerful flashlight in the house, even stronger than the 6, 7, and 8 cell lights I was scrounging from tag sales at the time. Thomas M. on Aug 4, 2007 - 11:05 PM I just acquired one of these lights; I installed a #1129 automotive 6-volt bulb in it. While it more or less does the job, the bulb is made for a 6V automotive battery which pulls a LOT more amps than does a 6-volt screw-terminal lantern dry cell.
