led technology is gettin better an better...the early led flashlights were weak an used multiple leds grouped together...i just bought a new...5 watt led spotlight by stanley...an wow! BRIGHTEST THING I EVER SEEN....it will blind you an burn your eyes if you look into it...it makes a white hot spot on a wall, that hurts your eyes just to look at it.. an will shine for over a mile it seems....by far so much brighter than the old halogen spotlights an led never burns out an go farther on batteries...flashlights just get better an better....

I have a very old Lightwave with a head similar to the Pro 4000 but with only 4 weak LEDs. The textured, rubberized body tapers from the head like the 4000 but is otherwise straight, single piece, no end cap. It has a perforated tab in the butt with a lanyard hole. Uses 3xAA. Does anyone know what model I have or where to find out more about it ?
