Oops, previous comment belongs with the animal models. However, this train model uses the same standard PR bulb mentioned in the comment above. It's a lot easier to change the bulb on this model vs. the animal models, but you still need a phillips screwdriver. A short shaft phillips screwdriver can be used for this model.

Any standard 2 cell flashlight PR bulb will work. These are available at any hardware store or supermarket. However, this is one of the more difficult flashlights in which to replace the bulb. You have to unscrew the two phillips screws on both sides of the cylinder encasing the bulb, reflector, and lens. You will need a long phillips screwdriver for this purpose. Then, you need to slide the sleeve out. The bulb, reflector and lens will, then, fall out of the sleeve. You have to use finesse to slide the sleeve back in without cracking the upper "jaw". You need to do a bit of forcing, but, once again, you must be careful to avoid breaking any of the plastic components.
