Maglite DOES NOT produce an led version of the 2AAA maglite. They do however produce a 2AA LED.

I have had a 2AAA in black for quite some time now. I run it with 2 eneloop AAA's and a 2AA xenon lamp which really improves the output

This little Mag-Lite had a place in the right uniform shirt pocket for years. Never failed to light, except when the batteries gave out. One bulb change in 15 years, and only because I dropped it on concrete while running. Pocket clip was great for keeping it handy for reading, or writing, in the dark. Great Mag-lite; too bad it was discontinued.
