Pros: 1) Sturdy, 2) bright beam that’s adjustable, 3) nice looking. Cons: 1) short battery life, 2) if dropped while turned on the bulb burns out, 3) rolls away if set on a non-flat surface, 4) if you don't use it for a couple of months the batteries swell up and burst open, making it impossible to remove the batteries without using a drill.

""This flashlight is powerful and compact, but the bulb heats up in seconds."""
This is among one of the weakest 2AA incandescent lights you can get now days.
The only good thing it is for, is it can be a host to a 101 upgrades or DIY stuff. You can do upgrades that may only have as much the same very weak output or but with much much longer runtimes (great for power outage/emergencies) to a hotwire that can make this light be one of the brightest of the current lights on this site as I have the hotwire setup. The only Maglight that could match or beat it would be the MagCharger for example. Search for "minimag hotwire" if you do not believe me.
