Cons: 1) short battery life, 2) the bulb burns out if you drop the flashlight while it's on, 3) if you set it down on a surface that's not perfectly flat it rolls away, 4) if you leave the batteries in it and don't use the flashlight for more than a couple of months the batteries will swell up and burst open, creating a mess and making it impossible to remove the batteries without using a drill.
