There were a number of inexpensive imported flashlights in the 1980s and 1990s that combined a flashlight with a siren function. I recall seeing two designs the most often. First, I recall seeing a combination spotlight, fluorescent (or other area) light, amber flashing light--and sometimes a siren. The second variety was a "personal safety device" that combined a flashlight with a siren that could be triggered using a panic button. I think these are still being sold, if you look around.

I have one of these flashlights!! Both the siren and flashlight still work but the threads connecting the "siren" end are broken.I have the piece taped together right now so it can be used. The siren is very unique, and my kids think its awesome. Actually so do I. If anyone knows where I can purchase one in better shape, please let me know!
