my grandparents gave me one of these in november of '96. the date should not be 1970, because it was purchased brand new. i have no idea what brand this flashlight is. no offense to my grandparents but this light was very flimsy, and i was constantly fixing it, until the crimp terminals became unsodered a year after first receiving it.
