Also comes as all-white version with same model number. (White appears to be same as lens holder in picture of black version.) Uses two AA batteries, though not sure if should be alkaline or NiCad. Did recharge alkalines in it, which were noticeably brighter than freshly-charged NiCads from NiCad charger. (Admittedly the NiCads are much older than the alkalines in this 'test'. Alkalines are 1.5v while NiCads are 1.25v, so 3v vs 2.5 for the pair.)
