God knows how long it had been there. she handed it to me and i turned it on it worked but the batteries were weak and the contacts needed to be cleaned, so it only gave off a very dim light. it was lost once again and i have no clue where it went to. We bought a dozen of these for our crew at work and none made it a month . The only good part was the bright Krypton bulb !
