I made a mistake on the last comment. It is a 5 cell, not a 3 cell.

I have a 3 cell like this that has Montgomery Ward on the end cap with a hanger ring and a much larger Octagon bezel. The switch is identical to the ribbed switch on the unidentified bullet flashlight a couple pages over, including the words "MADE IN U.S.A." and "PAT. APL'D FOR" as well as "OFF" on the slide.

I have one in working order that has a Montgomery Ward stamped on the side and the butt plate.

These "Octagon" bezel flashlights use widely available screw-in "MB-14" lightbulbs rather than the more prevalent PR bulbs that are used in contemporary incandescent flashlights.

On these Rayovac models with the "Octagon" bezels, the beam is highly focusable. Loosen or tighten the ENTIRE bezel to achieve focus. The Rayovac with this type of head focuses much better than the Bond and Eveready models with this type of head. [Based on a similar "Solid Copper" as inscribed Rayovac with a slightly different type of switch.]
