I have 2 of these lights, plus one for Methane work areas from Boeing. My main work light, good tight beam, put a krypton bulb and WOW!

Does anyone know the story about the version of this flashlight that includes test lead sockets to provide 3v output for testing circuits? I saw a light like that on eBay, in original packaging. I've never seen an industrial light that does this, other than some old Bell System custom lights.

i don't think that is from 1990, i bought one like that in 1997 and it didn't have a logo on it. my dad also bought one like this in 1995 and it didn't have the logo on it. however, i bought another one in 2000, and it did have the logo.

The new models of the Eveready Industrial also have a faceted reflector. However, this Rayovac includes a spare bulb holder in the bezel end of the flashlight. Rayovac also makes [or made] an orange safety light version of this model [IN-MS2], that includes a spring attached to the lens, presumably to prevent damage from a shattering bulb while adding some shockproof protection for the bulb.

This fashlight is brighter than the almost twin Everyready industrial. The silver reflector around the bulb has facets instead of being smooth and cone shaped. This makes the light evenly lighted throuhout the concentrated ares of the beam. No shadows and bright spots in the beam. Wish I had a few more.
