I have 2 of these flashlights and loved them--until each suddenly stopped working (like Sharon Smith said on 5/28/08).....why is this? New batteries don't do it. The light did't even dim to say it was time to change batteries. I have a previous version of the workhorse mini flashlight, many years old, and THAT ONE is STILL working!!! How can I repair the other 2 I have?

I have cases of these from when I owned a business in the 90's. I'm having to throw the boxes away because of the batteries that were enclosed in them but the flashlights are brand new. Would sell anyone interested lots of 10 for 5.00 plus shipping or you can pick them up in norfolk, Virginia. Thanks

I HAVE TWO OF THESE..BRAND NEW..USED ONLY ONCE TO SEE IF THEY WORKED...TOOK BATTERIES OUT AN PUT IN DRAWYER FOR FUTURE...ITS NOT A BAD LIGHT...THE SHAPE IS NICE FOR HOLDING..BUT THE TRADE OFF IS THE BEAM PATTERN....REALLY HORRIBLE FOR THE FEW SECS. I HAD THEM ON...YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE LIGHT CLOSE TO SOMETHING TO REALLY SEE IT....BUT I AGREE...IT HAS A UNIQUE SHAPE....THATS GOOD FOR POCKECT...

The bulb in this flashlight CAN be replaced. If you open it up and look at the light end, you will see a while plastic piece. Molded into this piece is the word "OPEN" and two arrows. Twisting this piece in the direction of the arrows will unlock this white piece, where it can be lifted away and allow the bulb to be removed. Just reverse the twisting direction to lock the bulb back in place.

Have had one of these flashlights for years and love it. Just went dead and can't be revived with new batteries. Thought the problem might be the bulb but it doesn't appear that it can be changed. What stores carry this little workhorse.
