I HAD ONE OF THESE...FROM THE LATE 1980'S.....GOOD LIGHT....HAD LOTS OF THROW...MINE HAD THE SWITCHES IN FRONT AN YOU COULD CHANGE THE FOCUS....FROM FLOOD TO SPOTLIGHT....(SWITCH MOVED THE BULB BACK AN FORTH)

As of April 2007, it is. I'm sure I bought one of these in the early '80s. Had it for many years and really has a lot of throw. Finally gave out after accidentally leaving in the rain too many times. My brother bought me a new one for Christmas last year.
