I have a similiar RAY O VAC pen light, but the battery screwed end is bullet shaped with the pocket clip also at that end. The bulb end cap also screw off, and has the same type of bulb as in this PAA2 picture. Apart from the words RAY O VAC there are no othe wording. I was thinking of putting it on EBAY but have found no info on this item or its value--any info would be appreciated.--thanks

This is "The Statesman Penlight" model PAA2 (probably for Penlight--2AA Bateries). Box is Art-Deco like: Black with thin white pinstripes; Red diagonal banner and stylized Ray-O-Vac logo. Box instructions state "Use Ray-O-Vac 7r or 7LP Penlight Batteries. Address on box is "Ray-O-Vac Company -- Madison 10 Wisconsin." Circa 1935 is probably about right. Light bulb has a screw base (#222) inset in a brass ferrel bushing which sits inside a semi-transparent plastic bushing. Body seems to be formed from thin aluminum tubing. Base has a cast aluminum plug with "RAYOVAC."
