Just bought one at an auction and then found this site. Went to the shop and raided a light of it's battery and it works! Fantastic!

Hi Trenton. I have a couple of these lights, and mine take a standard 6v lantern battery, not the old 1.5 volt tall round batteries you might be thinking of. These were made of very thin aluminum--maybe one of your sides is a bit out of round? The lantern battery is a pretty tight fit to keep it from moving around.

This light takes a standard 6 volt lantern battery, the box-shaped one with two springs on the top. Any hardware store should carry them.

I bought one of these at a yard sale and I think all it needs is a battery. Can you tell me where I can buy one?
