you can buy these lights as pictured above at www.railroadcatalog.com only color they have is yellow with a few railroad emblems to choose from they are $26.95 ea. Look on ebay too sometimes they sell on there as well.

Found one while cleaning just like the one pictured above. Has both light bulbs, but a little rusty. Battery has carroded. Would consider selling, if this can be fixed.

the 222 is a conrail trainmans lantern its not suposed to blink you have a short in the lantern head or the bulb is loose

I have One of these 222 Starlites ts labled Conrail and has 2 light bulbs. 1 blinks and 1 is solid. Is that how they were suposed to be and which socket should the blinking light be installed?

This is a great lantern. I've had one for about 25 years. I was able to buy a 6-volt screw-in style bulb at Aubuchon Hardware last week. I would like to find another one of these lanterns to give my brother.
