  Huh....
You could always tell these early "led" lights...they grouped a bunch of weak leds together..to give more light...The new ones are single super brite (5 watts or more) led in a deep conical lenz...that gives a white hot circle of light...almost too bright to look at...new led spotlights are far briter than the old halogen million candle power ones...they come a long way...

LOOKING AT THIS...I THINK THE BLACK HEAD UNSCREWS TO CHANGE BATTERIES...IF IT DONT...THEN THEY GO IN THE BACK...BUT TRY TO UNSCREW THE HEAD FIRST...BUT GO EASY AN DONT BREAK IT...
