IM SURE THIS IS A GOOD FLASHLIGHT...MAJOR PROBLEM WITH IT IS...IT TAKES EXOTIC, EXPENSIVE, HARD TO FIND BATTERIES....EXPIERIENCE HAS SHOWN ME TO STICK TO LIGHTS YOU CAN FIND AN BUY COMMON, CHEAP BATTERIES ANYWHERE YOU GO...

bought one of these in the summer of 2009. talk about bright, but dang it is a juice guzzler.

very good if you work in security or law enforcement or any other job that would put you in a tactical situation. i don't work in that field nor do i hope to be put in a tactical situation, but it is still a nice light for my collection.

My Scorpion is circa mid 90's. Bought this light to replace my 2 cell Maglite for duty. It has served me faithfully for 15 years, and never failed me, except when I had discharged batteries. Still has the original bulb; rubber coated body is tough, light output equals or exceeds a 2 D-Cell Maglite, end cap switch is very handy for momentary on use while searching, in the dark. Way better than a Mini-Maglite for belt carry. One awesome light. Get one while you still can!
