Is this Tekna flashlight still available for purchase? If not, is the patent still in force or can it be producted by anyone?

Yes, this is one of the best flashlights ever made. The perfect reflector, light weight, super rugged, as bright as a heavy 4 cell D MAG, no breakable switch, waterPROOF.. I used one for 20+ years until finally a piece of metal broke on the batt compartment and I had to fix it with some tin foil.

Had a four cell black one for years, still works but the reflector is past its best. Waterproof and floats lens up in water...what a great idea. I feel these have now been surpased by models such as Surefire etc

It's an easy to operate flashlight i use as a backup diving light.
And in diving easy to operate is a key word i think!
Hope to be able to use it for a long period.
